My work is sculptural and often functional. For the last 18 years I have been creating unique anthropomorphic and surreal pieces, with the intention of each being aesthetically true and unique. I am often inspired by ancient and indigenous art forms but strive to be contemporary in my style. My goal is to bring cheer and entertainment to people, keeping with the principals of progressive art.
Most of my work is created using the potters wheel and sculpture techniques. I am interested in surface design and sculptural expressions. I combine glazed and unglazed surfaces using a variety of stains, and treatments. More recently I have begun to work in bronze and welded metals.
